More than 330 years ago, a paper mill emerged on the banks of Netstal’s Dorfbach river. Over more recent years, the company Papierfabrik Netstal AG has grown.

Papierfabrik Netstal AG now is specialised in the production of high-quality filter paper and coffee filter crepe papers. Besides this production of crepe-based papers for coffee filters, Papierfabrik Netstal AG has developed and is producing specialist paper reels in premium quality crepe, in smooth and coloured qualities for use in the medical, food-packaging and horticultural sectors as well as base-papers for external converting into towels, bandages and cleansing wipes.
